Tomorrow is the day – GE13

Tomorrow is the day – GE13

I can choose to be quiet but there are things that I fear if I don’t say it, I will live in regret for the rest of my life.

It hurts me so much knowing that so many dirty tactics happening in Penang, my beloved state. This could be the dirtiest elections ever with so many cash handouts, lucky draws, free food, free-flow beer and outdoor entertainment.

Dear relatives, unimates, classmates, coursemates, enemies, childhood friends, friends from near and far, tomorrow is the day where the rakyat will go out to cast their votes in this 13th General Election.

Those of you who can vote, do it. Come out early.

Some people are too young to vote, but you can. You’ve lived at least 21 years in Malaysia’s soil. You know what have been happening. You know who’s doing well and who’s not. You know if media is censored. You know many things from the internet, although some are just plain rumours and fake. But you know that there’s really something shitty happeining to your country. You’ve seen, heard and experienced all of it yourselves from education, human rights, police treatment and so on. Are you going to be a bystander and take a so-called neutral stand? Stop this bullshit!

Feel helpless no more!! You can make a change! The power is in your hand now. You can change all these nonsense!

I don’t give a damn shit who you are voting tomorrow. But come out and vote! Each vote counts. Vote for the candidate and party which you think can bring harmony, peace and wealth to the rakyat and country.

If you are happy with the present system, vote them. If you feel there must be a change, so that life would be better, vote them! Nothing’s wrong to vote for new persons and parties in while you kick the badass out.

Voting is a privilege. And to vote for anyone or any party you prefer is your rights. No one can stop you from doing so.

The most awaited moment is just hours away. So do your part, will yea? Let’s make a difference. This is the time for you, Malaysians, do something for Malaysia, your country.

Let’s make tomorrow a day to be remembered.

No matter who wins, let it be peace and harmony. Don’t create troubles. Handle it with rationality and maturity. The elections results will determine our future.

As a first time voter, I am so excited and nervous. I wonder how it’s like to step into the polling station, getting the ballot papers and put an ‘X’ on it. Hahahahaaa.

Malaysia milik kita. Milik kita semua, bukan puak puak yg kaya, extreme atau racist.

Publicity stunt over the search of William Yau?

Very the funny and ironic! So many child have gone missing. So much crime victims have died. But suddenly one political party came out like it cares the most, launched campaign to look for the missing 6-year-old William Yau Zhen Zhong.

Why har? Why only now? Why at this time when General Election is about a month away? Why William?

And I thought political parties now claimed they are across racial lines but isn't William a Chinese? Why I don't remember you asking your party members to look for other non-Chinese missing child?

Am I being paranoid? OK maybe William's chubbiness caught your heart. You analyse yourselves lah. What I hope is this is not just a publicity stunt. I hope those appeared on the newspaper giving out flyers etc were not hypocrite and merely putting up a show.

If you are sincere, launch a campaign to get back Satiskumar Tamilvanan, 5, and M. Jethendran, 16, too. What if one day, it's your kids who are kidnapped or gone missing?

I do agree with some people that we should leave William's family alone, for now..
Put journalism business aside, this is about being humane and understanding.

I apologise if my thoughts caused uneasiness to some quarters.

merdeka no feel

Apabila si pemimpin asyik sibuk nak berpolitik dan berpilihan raya, maka tiadalah rasanya patriotik dalam bulan kemerdekaan tahun ini, lesu rasanya..

Tak rasa pun dah merdeka dah..

now is time for 'duit kopi'

Don’t say we people bribe you lah polis. As if all of us like to do so. Next time when you come out with a report, don’t forget to say YOU polis ask duit kopi from us!

And when we declined to give, you give us saman few weeks after that and you create our offence yourself. What a shameful creativity you have!

Shame on u!

PTHOOOI!

Who doesn’t know when festive season arrives, you guys will be out to cari makan? Let me be specific, it’s Raya time! Oh school kids also know that.

PDRM is in a sorry state where you can never change this culture. NEVER! This is Malaysia. You live in a system where you inherit whatever that was passed down to you. Even you didn’t want to, at the end of the day, you’ll automatically do so.

So yea people, just be more alert as these blue uniform men are on the hunt. They’ll be more active and hardworking in taking care of the traffic and drivers.

Don’t worry about crime. Where got crime in Malaysia? Our minister has said it’s just a perception. Don’t forget we are the safest country in Asia you know. The minister said he can walk freely on the street and no one attack him. Of course la duh, look who’s talking. Someone is talking through the ass not the brain. As if we, you and me, the normal people are secured by bodyguards everywhere we go.

Remember this is Malaysia, we can, kita BOLEH!

Oh Selamat Berpuasa and Selamat Hari Raya my friends.

A STERN NOTE TO FUTURE POLITICIANS, PLEASE DON’T MISTREAT OUR POLICEMEN. I BELIEVE IF THEY ARE GIVEN A SUFFICIENT AMOUNT OF SALARY PLUS A CONDUCIVE WORKING ENVIRONMENT, THEY WON’T DO ALL THOSE SHITTY THINGS SO MUCH. PLEASE LAH YA, TRANSFORM THE POLICE FORCE BEFORE NO ONE TRUSTS THEM.

lawak Malaysia

Kalau asyik nak syiok sendiri, kasi habuan kat orang sendiri, nak copycat, eh u all tak ke mana la. Patutlah Malaysians hebat semua nak cabut. Dah bumi sendiri tak nak recognize ur talents, takkan nak mati kat sini?

Chui kong LAMPHA song.

Hipokrit tahap maksimum politikus Malaysia.

SALUTE!

Happy Wesak Day

It’s Wesak Day again today.

I don’t know why but every year, when Wesak Day is here, I will feel certain kind of calmness and peace.

It’s the spiritual feeling that hard to describe.

I’m glad I’m off today May 5 on Wesak Day. Coincidently today marks my second month of working in the media.

So what’s the plan today? As usual I wake up late. Then I’ll go to temples to pray, get free vegetarian good and Dhamma books.

I think I’ll go to a few temples to take pictures as well since I haven’t send my camera for repair yet.

The finale of Wesak will be the grand procession tonight from the Malaysian Buddhist Association at Burma Road.

I’ve never missed the procession ever since I started watching it as a kid then volunteered as a first aider during secondary school.

Not to forget, the prayers I will be making for my grandparents, parents, siblings, girlfriend, friends, Malaysia and the world.

Anyway, I hope with this Wesak Day, everyone will be blessed and the country will be peaceful again. No more violence anymore. We may not have wars with other countries or terrorists, but we have conflicts between its people and the government. May the evils are back to the track and be good again.

Happy Wesak Day.

*There will be traffic jams everywhere. So plan your route. Penangites stay at home if you don't wana be pissed. Or you can always use bike like me. Save time and cheaper. hahaha.*

I, am angry too!

Of all peaceful rallies, peaceful protests, peaceful assemblies and gatherings I’ve attended, I always keep in mind that I might be thrown into the police truck and I must not fear of it as I know what I believe in. It crossed my mind to be arrested one day, just because the government doesn’t like people who have a different point of view than them. Close friends even have a thought that one day I will sure be locked up and enjoy ‘nasi kari’ behind the cells. Although sometimes I chicken out, but until this moment, I still open up my heart and mind for the possibility  to feel the moment of being arrested wrongfully for the cause I’m fighting for. In Malaysia, everything is possible. Because we simply can.

Malaysia Boleh!

The black can be white and the white can be black.

Today nothing saddened me the most than knowing a friend of mine, a junior of mine got arrested in the recent Bersih 3.0 rally.

WHY! She did nothing wrong. She’s a lady. She was harmless. She was weaponless. She was helping those injured.  She’s a Malaysian.

You, who are reading this, before you start condemning and criticizing, what have you done to make your surrounding better for the people?

I know the taste, smell and sound of tear gas and water cannon being shot. I felt it.

I was lucky to escaped from the bashing of Bersih 3.0.

I am so angry for the unfairness and violence the government has done to its people.

I am angry that good people being victimized but the bad guys are on the loose.

I am angry a friend got arrested before I do.

I am angry for treated like a foreigner in my own country.

I am angry because the government has failed us.

I love this country too..

As I believe, there is still hope. There's still better tomorrow.

bila yang sepatutnya baik menjadi jahat

Gengster sekarang bukan takat yang buka rumah pelacur, jual DVD cetak rompak ataupun nak culik orang. Gengster paling besar sekarang ni ialah si pemakai uniform biru tua yang pukul orang sesuka hati termasuklah media. Merekalah antara manusia terjijik, terkotor terjahanam pernah ku jumpa. Totally no respect for u, except uncle police who control the traffic.

Budaya dalaman mu sukar diubah.
Bila gila, kamu memukul macam hantu diserang histeria.

Hari ke hari, nama mu busuk merata dunia.
Reputasi mu jatuh di mata Malaysians.
Mungkin anda hanya harum di kalangan orang-orang mu.

Keamanan negara bukan terletak lagi di tangan mereka.
Kepercayaan terhakis.
Kezaliman terbukti.
Keraajan kalau kotor,
masakan orang-orang bawahannya.

Bangkit rakyat bangkit.
Negara aman, rakyat selamat.
Hanya satu caranya, undi.
Undilah parti alternatif.

countless people at Bersih 3.0

Ok i lost count.

Maybe the mainstream media are good in counting, and you can trust their figures?

This is just the crowd at the street from Pudu to Dataran Merdeka, not including other places around Dataran Merdeka yet.

How about the other cities in Malaysia and around the world?

As usual la, whatever the media reported are always different and sometimes contradict with what we saw, heard and experienced live from the scene.

In this case, Bersih 2.0 and 3.0.

But I believe there are so many other news alternatives. People are not stupid, don’t they? =p

tips for peaceful assemblies' participants

URGENT AND IMPORTANT

So I heard some people are going to Bersih 3.0 is it? Ooo very dangerous one you know? You never been there before? First time participate?

I pun dengar cakap ada 6 tempat berkumpul esok 1. P Seni, 2. Masjid Negara, 3. Masjid India, 4. Jalan Sultan, 5. KLCC, 6. Brickfields.7. Petaling Street. 8. Sogo.

Oh I see.. It’s ok, let me share share some tips with you.

Firstly before you so anything, pray sincerely and ask for blessing, if your intention is true.

You must eat first so that you have the energy to walk, run, shout and sit.

Always inform a people that you trust that you are going to the peaceful assembly.

MAKE SURE your hp got credit and battery so that you can make and receive calls.

Save the important numbers of lawyers or human rights NGOs in case you are caught! haha!

Never wear expensive watch, accessories or jewelleries.

Wear light and not loose undergarments. Shameful malu ooo if suddenly it fell off.

Chit chat and be friends with strangers.

Gel up your hair so that girls will look at you.

Girls please don’t put up thick make up, you’ll be sweating and you don’t want to look like….

Please put on perfume because your bau ketiak yang busuk can make people faint.

Bring some chewing gums or sweets along in case you are hungry.

Don’t you ever dirty the place. Carry your sampah home or throw it only into the dustbin!

Don’t walk alone, be in a group.

Please don’t curse or maki hamun people.

Study the map carefully so that you won’t be trapped in case FRU shoot teargas and water cannon.

NEVER EVER forget to bring salt.

Read the do’s and don’ts from the organizer.

Get the latest updates on the event.

Lastly, bring as little unuseful and unnecessarily things as you can la because it’s hard to run around with heavy beg.

Anyway I say only la. I’m not asking you to join ya. Anything, you don’t come and find me.

apa salah, apa takut?

Erykah Badu says disappointed, promoters blame The Star for concert ban

Read more of the news here from Malaysian Insider http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/malaysia/article/erykah-badu-says-disappointed-promoters-blame-the-star-for-concert-ban

What caught my attention is what Erykah said.

“What good is religion if you push out love if it’s not in your comfort zone?”
“My main focus in art is people; politics comes last when we connect as artists on stage.”
“I’m here for the people and hope that the minister meets with me and hope we see love. Doesn’t know me and my music. Many people here care about the show."
“Art is often misunderstood in the realm of religion. Art can’t be censored by anyone.”

Well said.

Lim Guan Eng attended Pai Thi Kong Celebration like an angel

Chief Minister of Penang, YB Lim Guan Eng attended the Pai Thi Kong Celebration at Chew Jetty, Penang on Monday night, the 8th day of Chinese New Year accompanied by the war-zone like fireworks in the air.

It was a night to pray to the God of Heaven or Thi Kong but when Lim Guan Eng arrived, the scene turned into as if an angel has just sent from Heaven down to the people. RELA members have to jaga him from the eager public to shake his hand and take his photos. It was really havoc. Good havoc. The young and old, laki pompuan, cina india melayu dan sebagainya suka sama dia. =p

*few more photos to come*
