Publicity stunt over the search of William Yau?

Very the funny and ironic! So many child have gone missing. So much crime victims have died. But suddenly one political party came out like it cares the most, launched campaign to look for the missing 6-year-old William Yau Zhen Zhong.

Why har? Why only now? Why at this time when General Election is about a month away? Why William?

And I thought political parties now claimed they are across racial lines but isn't William a Chinese? Why I don't remember you asking your party members to look for other non-Chinese missing child?

Am I being paranoid? OK maybe William's chubbiness caught your heart. You analyse yourselves lah. What I hope is this is not just a publicity stunt. I hope those appeared on the newspaper giving out flyers etc were not hypocrite and merely putting up a show.

If you are sincere, launch a campaign to get back Satiskumar Tamilvanan, 5, and M. Jethendran, 16, too. What if one day, it's your kids who are kidnapped or gone missing?

I do agree with some people that we should leave William's family alone, for now..
Put journalism business aside, this is about being humane and understanding.

I apologise if my thoughts caused uneasiness to some quarters.

Public bus and kiasu parents

My blog has been so super quiet for some time. Seriously I have lesser time to sit and write on my thoughts here. It can be tiring to write again after work, as researching, interviewing and writing are the things I do everyday. Since it’s an off day, let’s fill something in my blog. =p

It’s a lovely sight to see school kids converging the public bus stops again. If you are not aware, the schools have re-opened today. The public busses are packed with the students who either go to schools or to go back home. School busses are back on the streets too.

I was one of them who used public transport to school. I remember waking up 6.30am the latest, then walked along the quiet long street just next to the graveyard to the nearest bus stop. Hahaha. Those were the days.

My thought about this is these kids are independent. They do not have to count on their parents to send or pick them up from schools. Or maybe their parents do not have the time to do so. Most of these kids (if not all) are from the middle and lower income families. These type of families where got so much time to do the sending and picking up job? Time is spent with work to make ends meet. And these are not the kiasu parents I would say. Are the more than average families over protective? Or are they have no confidence in their kids and the public transport? Or is it because you know, they are scared to let their kids out on the street?  Scared their kids will be sweating over to the hot weather, got kidnapped or robbed, dirtied and so on? These kiasu kiasi parents are the main cause of the traffic congestion in the morning, afternoon and evening. Hey parents, education and social awareness start from you. And please don’t farking block the entire road just to send or fetch your price/princess. You cannot die if you park your car somewhere or park your car nicely in front of the school. Damn it!

Perhaps this is a way to show their love to their kids, by sending and picking them up from the schools. Hmmm...

My sister enters secondary school today. It’s her first day in Form One and first time wearing the sky blue pinafore. She’s studying in Penang Chinese Girls' High School (PCGHS). As a brother and as someone who has endured hardship and challenges, I just want the best for her. She’s grown up so much. She starts to rebel and fight back. But I’m happy that she knows about what’s going on with the country. I hope one day she can render her service to the nation.

life companion

When it comes to a point in life, you'll have a strong feeling that the person you are dating now will be your companion of life. And when you've realised that, don't you ever let that person slip away. That special ones will be there during your ups and downs, sweet and sour moments, all the time. This is love.

Full Marathon? I MADE IT!

I am not showing off. But I want the world and those who feel like giving up to know that hey, I never train before and hey it’s my first time running Full Marathon. But hey although knowing and expecting that I might faint on the bridge, I did not quit even before the race day. I ran, I jogged, I walked, I sat, I squat, I laid on the bridge, I was barefooted, I kneeled down in pain and I did whatever shit I can to complete the race. Not for a second I stop and give up on myself. Until the very last second of qualifying time of 7-hour, I was still waking until the sweeper bus asked us to get in. And I stopped the bus at the last 1km. Then slowly in great pain, I walked to the the finishing line. I made it. I failed to complete 42.195km but I did 34km++. If you don’t believe in yourselves, no one else would. It’s all about your mind and heart. For those who give up even before you give anything a try, you are going no where. MARK MY WORDS!

Home: criminals producer

Keluargalah kilang yang melahirkan segala penjenayah dan sampah masyarakat di dunia.

Home, is the factory where criminals and society parasites are produced.

Think about it.

when i die

When I die, I want to die with a lots of good memories and rich life experiences.

I don't need a lot of money, materials or luxuries. I can't bring it down to hell or up to heaven. It's all useless. I don't need all that. So mahuan to be rich. Later you don't know who should inherit it. Donate it to the needy? Of course I will. But I have been doing it every now and then. I do charity when it's possible. I don't have to be rich by the time I'm old and donate it when I die.

My principle is simple. Live simple live happy. Simplicity is happiness.

I enjoy my life and it's never dull. Everyday something new is happening. I learn new things everyday.

My life is a beautiful journey because I know where to go, what route to take and what I want.

It's not how long I live, but how rich my life is.

Change? What change??

Change? What change?

It’s very ironic when people say they want to change or they have changed.

If you really want to change yourselves, you don’t have to tell the world, you can just whisper confidently to yourselves and do it.

It happens all the time when the people who confidently or maybe unconsciously say they want to change, ended up remain the same, some worse.

And how do you know you have changed? Simply telling people that you’ve changed will not prove that you’ve changed.

A change in you does not shown by what you said but through your actions. If you are a changed person, people can notice it without you saying it.

Only an attention-seeker with low self-esteem will keep on telling people every now and day, almost every time that he/she has changed.

What is funny and questionable here is hey how many times have you changed. In a week, you said you have changed for few times. So which is true? What mask are you wearing now? You changed from A to B to B to C to Z to D to K to T to X or what? What’s your formula, boy? Mind to share?

‘Change’ is a very important, heavy and full of responsibility’s word. You don’t simply use it unless you have done it.

Most of us want to change from bad to good but only those with strong heart and mind, dedication, perseverance and sincerity prevail.

A change takes time. There’ll never be a change if there’s no first step.

I guess you have to change the way you are now before you go out and tell anyone that you want to change or you have changed.

Sometimes, action speaks louder than words.

The biggest enemy in your life is none other than you, yourselves, not anything or anyone else.

A change is only a change when it has happened. If not, at all time, it is just a mere slogan.

Or a plain rubbish!

prokastinasi

Prokastinasi satu sikap langsung tak terpuji. Nanti benda jadi basi. Hati pun sedih marah dan mati. Jangan buat sendiri rugi. Sudah terlambat kalau menangis tak henti-henti. Ubahlah sebelum ia memakan diri. Kalau peluang sudah terlepas, ia takkan kembali. Menyesal tak berguna lagi. Ini hari satu ekspresi. Kalau tak suka, boleh blahhh dari sini. Kalau suka, like la banyak kali. hehehe. =p

QUOTE of the day

So many things to do in so little time a day. But if you don’t start doing anything now, you’ll end up not completing a single thing.

Ah Kong and Ah Heng

*same kind of smile but different in number of teeth*

Have you ever heard that we are just a temporary resident of the earth? Wait is there such saying or it's from my own?

What I'm trying to say is people will eventually get old, get sick and they sick. Some they died due to accident, disaster or poverty.

This is my paternal grandfather. Paternal grandmother has just passes away few weeks ago. I wonder how many more years my Ah Kong will be around.

I've always wanted to follow both of them back to our root, our home village in China but I didn't. No it wasn't my fault. I wasn't procrastinate.

But I'm still sad that I didn't fight for the chance to join their trip. I missed it twice. Now Ah Kong is alone. I don't think he wants to visit the place he came from anymore, since Ah Ma is not around.

Malaysia has already became her country so many decades ago.

I hope and always pray that my grandparents, both from my mother and father side will always be healthy and live long, as long as I'm alive..

thought of the day

People will always say something that hurt you and to bring you down but that's ok. No matter what they say, just do what you have to do and do it well with all your best. Do your job well and be a a good person.

life is a circle

Life is a circle. When we were small, our parents or guardians and our grandparents took care of us. Now when they are old and incapable or taking care of themselves, it’s our turn to do the same thing on them. There are certain things that you can’t run away. It’s a responsibility we have to bear.Same goes to death, it’s unavoidable.

have a bad feeling?

If you have a feeling that something bad is going to happen, it’s ok, let it be because sometimes there’s nothing much you can do. Just pray hard that it wont’ be that bad. And next time, avoid it from happening again.

*well im feeling so nervous right now. Finger crossed that I won’t be hentam by YB tomorrow.*

Night scene in Penang

Night scene in Penang: Not satisfied with your house? There are people out there sleeping without a roof, a bed, a pillow, a blanket and a proper shelter. Everyone wishes to have something better than what they already have but we must also appreciate what we have in present and lend our hands to those who need it.

Free Baskin Robbins ice-cream?

When some people are grieving for the loss of gold in the badminton men’s single by Datuk Lee Chong Wei, some other people are hoo-haa-ing about free ice cream.

Who says Baskin Robbins is giving out free ice-cream tomorrow? There are terms and conditions la people. You read and see. You click this link and see. http://www.ntv7.com.my/7edition/sport-en/ICE.html Or try you read the so-called announcement from the company. Or read it here from a news portal and analyse urself. http://www.malaysiandigest.com/news/81382-baskin-robbins-free-ice-cream-deal-still-on-despite-chong-weis-loss.html

I think people are getting the wrong message. They say there’ll be free ice-cream if only any of our Malaysian athletes come back with a gold medal in Olympic London, and not particularly Lee Chong Wei. Show me where’s the announcement that says they will be giving out free ice-cream tomorrow. Where?

So is it me that duno how to read, see or listen to the news? Eh or is it I’ve read it wrongly. Correct me please.

Anyway People tend to re-post what they see without checking the facts har? Check the facts even if it’s from the news agencies or portals.

It’ll be a disaster if everyone swarms to Baskin Robbins, wait few hours and go back with anger. Baskin or Robbins, you better clarify this. I know it’s a good publicity stint but..

IF REALLY GOT FREE ICE CREAM, PEOPLE WILL COMPLAIN IF ICE CREAM FINISH OR IF THEY QUEUE UP SO LONG BUT NEVER GET INTO THE SHOP IN TIME. IF STILL NO GOLD, THERE'LL BE NO ICE CREAM AND PEOPLE WILL BOYCOTT BASKIN ROBBINS FOR LYING.

Seriously no free lunch in the world. If you want something, you better work your ass to get it. Life is fair. You get what you deserved. Not by begging, bodekking, or waiting for FREE stuff.

People, pay for your own Baskin Robbins. Lee Chong Wei, you won a silver, I am happy. Come let me give you a treat by having good street food in Penang. How’s that? I can be your tour guide in Penang too. =p
