Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri / Eid al-Fitr

Best wishes and Eid al-Fitr to my Muslim friends. =p

*Jemputlah I ke rumah. I off Raya Kedua. Hehehe. =p*

joy as easy as 1 2 3

Hohoho I am happy and I wana tell the world!

Today I’m off, not working. I didn’t go anywhere. Just stay at home, do houseworks until I felt so dull. I need an escapade or timeout. Beh tahan.. so I went out at about 6pm.

Where I went? Where else!! ‘Pasar Pencuri’ or the ‘Thieves Market’ as they call it la. That’s my shopping centre located at Armenian Street.

That’s where I get my happiness besides than seeing old people smiling.

I like observing different people going by.

Then something caught my attention. I saw a babychair. Yes babychair may seem nothing to you but I tell you, this babychair is made of steel. It’s an old babychair. Tell me where have you seen a steel babychair before? All we know it’s made of plastic.

This is rare!!

But you how much is it? RM40! Damn! This guy knows the value of it. Arrghhh! Where to korek RM40. I have the money but I was so reluctant to buy it at such a high price. My eyes were wild looking for the presence of a tattoo man. He’s rich. He collects antiques and his old shophouse has nothing but antiques and only antiques. I couldn’t let this chair slip into his hands.

I went to check out other stuffs there. After a while, the chair was still there. Well, I had to do what I had to do.

BARGAIN!

I asked for RM20. No. At the end, I brought out my cash. I had a total of RM29. I forced him to accept RM20. I said that’s all I have. Cilakak he said I should bring more money if I want to shop. Zzz.. Well, I pushed for RM20 again. At the end, cincaila I gave him another RM4 and I said let me keep the balance for petrol.

DEAL! Now the steel babychair is mine. I bought it for RM24! =p

I felt like I’m the happiest person on earth that I got a junk for a cheaper price. Most importantly I managed to get it before the rich tattoo man.

The secret is you have to show that you are poor and you really want it. But don’t go overboard la. they still need to make a living. If you think your price is reasonable, dare to spill it. If the seller says no, you walk away, they will call you back. If still cannot, okla you have to be nice and sweet. This way works when you deal with ladies. Hehehehe.

I must tell Pei Suang that I got a good deal again!

Yes I collect antiques and collectible items. Come give your junks, rubbish n sampah to me if you wana throw it away.

On the way home, it started to rain.

Guess what, I saw DOUBLE rainbow! Double!  As It rain heavily, I had to rush home, but I managed to snap a few shots.

I’m easily touched, easily get excited, easily be happy. I am satisfied with small little things.

Nyeh nyeh nyeh, at the end of the day, di sebalik hujan lebat, kilat sabung-menyabung, guruh berdentum, rebut petir, ada pelangi warna warni, there’s blessing, there’s a pot of colourful candies for you. =p

There’s a blessing in disguise.

Joy is being simple. Joy is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

*mum is sure gona nag me if she sees this rubbish!*

life is awesome

I've seen, experienced, felt, snapped, and wrote on a lot of things especially these few years.

Now I know for sure my passion is on life, crime, politics, heritage, cultural and religion.

My life is beautifully awesome!

One of the reasons is because my life is so enriching and fulfilling.

The other reason is because i know what i want and what i like.

Every single good or bad moment is treasured.

Sexy!

Happiness

This is happiness.

Long tiring day just went off because of this meal.

It's simple and yet it's delicious.

Late dinner feels like a meal in 5-star hotel.

Want to try how good it is?

Head to Veloo Villas at Little India.

nasi lemak

If you ask me what's my favourite food.

My answer will be none other than nasi lemak.

I love nasi lemak.

I think i start to be addicted with it since my primary school.

Because of nasi lemak, i started to eat with hands.

As i grown up with friends from from different races and background, i became like them.

I am muhibbah. =p

I used to ate 3 packets of nasi lemak in one go during recess time in Standard 3.

Back then one packet only cost 30cents.

Now you are lucky if you can still find RM1 nasi lemak.

With the same amount of rice, sometimes very less, but they sell it for RM1.20 and it tastes sucks.

This morning, i found the long lost taste n smell of nasi lemak i had during my primary school time.

DAMN NOSTALGIC!

i jilat my jari sampai kering bersih kilat berseri-seri. hahaha!

simple to be happy

Oh yes I am happy today. Sometimes it’s just so easy to be happy.

I realized I am that kind of people that easily feel satisfied and contented.

What’s so happy about today?

Happiness is when Nathan slept on my bed last night soundly and we missed the concert by Olivia Ong.

Happiness is when I brought Nathan to the hidden delicious Curry Mee in Air Itam where only local know where it is.

Happiness is when I saw the Curry Mee aunties are still around and they smiled at me.

Happiness is when I got to know that my loved one is called for an interview at The Star.

Happiness is when I bargained kao-kao and bought antiques aka unwanted items aka rubbish cheap-cheap at Armenian Street ‘thieves’ market.

Happiness is when I got updates from Pei Suang.

Happiness is when I got to know that Ai Loon is now working in a newspaper company in Penang! Wohooo!

Now I know why I pokai – food, books, travel, antiques.

*isn't it simple to be happy*

bye 2011 hi 2012

Say bye to 2011 and say hie to 2012. I would like to take this chance to say zillions of thank you to everyone who came across my life and lend me their hands whenever I needed it. I’m sorry for all my cilakakness. Let’s learn from our mistakes and try to be a better person next year. Besides shouting like some mad fella at 12am later, maybe we can take 10 seconds to pray for world peace. I hope next year will be no war, no disaster and everyone will not be starving. Make 2012 more umpph than 2011. 2011 is awesome. 2012 will be lagi teramat awesome! USH!

Blessing in Disguise

I am happy.

I was chatting with a lecturer on what to do after graduation.

Then when i decided to start with a permanent job after graduation, i got to know that there's no vacancy in the company that i want to go.

It's kinda sad.

But she said this to me, "blessing in disguise."

At least i feel better.

Maybe everything happens for a reason. Ada hikmahnya segala yang berlaku. You won't know.

Maybe i will get something else in return.

I Googled the meaning of blessing in disguise and this is what i got.

1.      If some bad luck or misfortune ultimately results in something positive, it's a blessing in disguise.
2.      Is a good thing that you don't recognize at first as a good thing.
3.      Some people believe that good things are really "blessings" (gifts from God), that we don't always recognize for what they are at first.
4.      Something that at first seems bad, but later turns out to be beneficial.

I am worried, scared and feel insecured for not securing a job yet when i am graduating end of the year.

Air Asia RM0.10 crazy sales!

Suddenly my friend from Philippines told me that she’s getting married on 8th January 2012. That’s like next month??

And so coincidently that Air Asia is having its 10 year anniversary sales. The ticket is as low as RM0.10!! crazy or not!! GILA!

Without wasting time, I quickly surf Air Asia’s website. I have 2 good reasons to do that isn’t?

For the first time ever, I sit in from on the laptop until now, to fight with thousands of people to get cheap flight ticket.

The line is so laggy.

Oh what a life!

It’s ok. It’s fun!! I’m so excited right now. I wonder if the ticket is as cheap as RM0.10, then RM100.00 enough for me to travel around the world or not?? Hahaha! I’m dreaming!

Anyway I’ve checked the flight ticket to Philippines. OMG! It’s about RM1000! That’s a lot..

With RM1000, I can go back to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam with Kwan Yee and Pei Suang. Hehehe.

Sorry Carla, I can’t make it for your wedding. Wish you abundance of happiness and love for the rest of your life.

Those who are still trying their luck to fly, all the best.

I’m going off now. Tata!

happiness..

I feel so excited and flattered everytime I receive a letter, e-mail, sms or even a FB message from old friends and close friends, whether they are from Malaysia or oversea.

I love that feeling!

I’m happier than when I receive a gift.

Happiness is so innocent. Sometimes you feel silly to be overjoyed by something simple. =)

thank you roomates

I am very thankful and grateful that throughout my 3 years of Degree studies in Kampar, i have 2 good roomates who are always there.

The first roomate was Siang Yong, my classmate.

Now it's Ah Liang, 3 years younger than me.

Thank you.
