In less than few hours, I’ll step into Sri Pentas for the ver first time.

I am so kinceong for my internship with ntv7!

It’s like a dream comes true. Right here right now I’m in KL and im gona do my intern with one of the good media companies in Malaysia.

I am very grateful to my lecturer, Mr. Teh Boon Teik for his help.

Although it’s just an internship but it’s gona be like a real working life. Working time is from 9am – 5pm everyday. I’m not sure whether I have to work during the weekends. What I know is no salary will be given. It’s ok. What is important is the exposure and experience. I am so sure that I am gona feel the moments that I’m not gona forget for quite a long time.

NTV7 office is just less than 30minutes away from where I stay. As I am taking bus to work tomorrow I have to go out an hour earlier. You know KL traffic. I have to be there by 9am. It’s clocking in time, everyone will be rushing for work.

This means I must wake up the latest by 7.30am. oh pls.. I dun wana be late for work on the first day. I hate myself for being late. Punctuality huh?? Hahaha. Okok.

Things to bring tomorrow: water, passport size photo, IC, gel, jacket.

Must gel hair, put perfume, shave my moustache wear my ironed coat by my mum.

It’s gona be a good awesome day tomorrow, as in later. I am so excited right now.

I wana make my family proud of me. I just wana improve myself in these 3 months. KL, I’ll show you what I’ve got!

May Buddha bless my friends who will be doing their internship tomorrow. And for my friends in UTAR, enjoy your first day of new semester tomorrow. =p

1st instant noodle in KL

Being here in KL for just less than a week and I’m already having instant noodle as my dinner.

Apala!

I went for 4days camp from Wednesday. I reached home around 9pm just now. And I was so damn hungry after travelling for hours.

KL is not like home in Penang. My mum is not here to prepare dinner. This is KL. Not my territory. I don’t know where to go to get food. And I don’t have transport. And the food is expensive.

At the end, I cooked instant noodle la. I can save some money. And I don’t have to walk down to buy food. Damn tiring ok.

I found this either Japanese or Korean’s instant noodle. When you are hungry, you makan je semua benda yang ada. I put one egg in it. =

Fuh. Sedap! Not bad la although the taste is really weird.

Alright, it’s time to sleep. Body is in a very tired state. Pls.. I wana sleep till late afternoon tmr. Tq.

Remember! Instant noodle is NOT good for health. Don’t always take instant noodle. I only eat instant noodle like twice or thrice a month. Really.. don’t take instant noodle too much if you don’t wana die fast.

farewell to Penang

Finally the time has come after a 2 enjoyable week semester break in Penang.

I am leaving today at 11.45am. Destination? Kuala Lumpur.

I'll b there for 3 months internshipin NTV7 starting next Monday.

But i have to go earlier to settle some stuff and attend a programme.

Well, somehow, my dream comes true. I can go far to do what i love to do.

but..

I am sad..

I am sad that I'm leaving my family to somewhere so far than Kampar, and for 3 months long.

I know 3 months will end very fast.

I know i'll see a lot of new different things and meet a lot of people.

I hope everything will be fine. I hope i can stand with KL's life. and I hope there'll be more opportnities for me in KL.

I am truly excited for my new life and i'm nervous too.

ok i have to go.

Haven't done with packing yet. hahaa.

My brother will send me to bus station later with car. got 3 BIG bags to bring ma..

Finally i managed to meet my maternal grandparents before i leave. Meeting the person you love is one of the most beautiful things in the world ma.

It just feels so nice, content and loving.

She has bee taking care of me since i was born until i enter primary school.

One thing for sure i would do when i go there is to eat! Her home-cook food is always the best. Sometimes better than my mum. hahaha.

So i told her im leaving this Tuesday to KL for my internship.

This is what she said and i felt sad listening this from her. I know she's proud of me. N i know she's abit sad i go so far.

" You go so far to study you must take care of your health. You must tkace care of yourself. You are big guy already. See you so skinny. Must eat more rice, must eat according to time. Go everywhere also becareful."

Wohoo it’s a beautiful Sunday morn in Kampar. Settling uni stuff, meeting up with friends, cleaning and packing up, having one last intimate moment with Kampar, then going back home. I’m gona miss Kampar for 4 months. In fact, I am very sad now separating with my friends. It’s like.. aih. Nvm. Go for nice breakfast lah! =p

Happy Mother's Day

It’s Mother’s Day today (8^th May). I know no point I wish my mum’s a Happy Mother’s Day here. As if she can hear or read this. She’s computer illiterate and she can’t read English. This post is just to say that today is Mother’s Day. And I just wana express my love to mum. I love her no matter what I do and no matter where I am till the day I die.

This is what I posted in Facebook a while ago.

“I know it’s mother’s day today. But what the heck la you make a wish here? As if your mum got Facebook and Twitter. If you are that loving, go to your mum, wish Happy Mother’s Day to her face, give her a big warm hug and kiss her cheek. How’s that?? Dare or not?? I wonder if no social networks, where and how you gona tell the world and your mum that you love her…”

I really don’t understand why people wish their mother in Facebook lo. Can’t you just use the time and energy to SMS them? Or call them? Okla for those mums that have Facebook then okla. And if no money to call back, okla use Internet la.

But the funny thing is they even wish other people’s mum.

HALOOOOO! Other people’s mother also your mother ah? Mother eh you!

Please let me use a phrase from Mr Patrick Teoh, “niamah!”

At least, pray quietly in your heart wishing her a good health n happy life. Oh yeah, I’ve been doing that. See, easy and free.

Instead of keeping photos of yourself, or your friends’ photos or your lover’s photos in your wallet or purse, why don’t you keep a photo of your family? Will you be here without them? I’m not condemning la ok, but just think about what I said.

You see, I’ve been observing a trend or a behavior of human. You see when they say or ‘I pray that’ something something, do they really make a wish and pray?

NO!

Their wish and prayers never work. Saying and telling that they will wish you are just merely words to show support but it’s not really a truthful support.

Whenever you say to someone you pray that they will be good in something, make sure you really do it through your heart and not your mouth. If you are a believer, make the prayer through your religion.

Sorry la I just cannot accept people say they pray that bla bla bla but it’s just another kind of flowerish words.

People nowadays really macam-macam pun ada.

Now exam is over. Suddenly I feel so boring and empty. It’s like university’s life is over. So fast time flies and im in Year 3 already, graduation soon end of this year.

Happy World Press Freedom Day

This is my Yellow Ribbon in support of World Press Freedom Day. It was given to me in 2010 during the lauching of Speaker's Square in Esplanade, Penang.

Happy World Press Freedom Day everyone.

The celebration was on 3rd May 2011.

I know i am late for like 1 day but it's ok. I was and still occupied for my finals ma. World Press Freedom is not only for a day but throughout the whole day. The fight for a free press will be going on until we achieve it one day.

Coincidentally on World Press Freedom Day, i had an exam on the subject of Politics and Media. hahaa. How irony is that when in studies, we talk about media freedom but in actual life, we actually don't have that.

I wrote this in my Facebook yesterday: it's 12am. it's May 3rd. It's World Press Freedom Day. i just hope that one day, the media in Malaysia will be more independent, neutral and free from Government control. let us at least against racist media for nation sake.

I don't know what we can do actually. but let's do something. Let's make a demand, a protest or a boycott to bad media.

DO you know that Malaysia is now ranks 143 out of 196 countries in the latest Global Press Freedom Index released by Freedom House from USA? What do you think about that huh??

Nice song!

My roommate has been playing this song everyday for quite some time. And at first I was quite annoyed by the music. Seriously!

But today I was awed by the singer, Chris Medina. He has a good vocal leh. And i fall in love with the MV the first time I watch it. I saw the MV through someone’s blog by the way. =p

The MV is so touching and true. But what touches me the most is not really the song, it’s Chris. I’m touched by his undying love his fiancée. How many guys could do the same thing like him? Hmmm..
