Hi my sexy Penang and hot Malaysia i'm seeing you again. it's so nice to be home.. This is where i belong! =)

I just landed in Penang at 5pm just now and reached home at 8 something. Damn tired. After cleaning up, I’ll go to amma’s house to prepare the Pai Thni Kong celebration.

I feel like I’ve been away for so long although it’s like just half a month. But half a month is really long for me. I missed a lot of things in Penang. But everything happens for a reason la.

You can have the both worlds you know. In life, you need to choose. When you choose, you need to let go something else.  So while you are having something now, you have to sacrifice other things that come along the way. Unless your life is so dull that you don’t have to make any choice.

My journey started from Sunday 15/1/2012. I went to Hong Kong with my dad. Then to Taiwan on Sunday 22/1/2012. My mum, sister, aunty and amma flew there to meet us. Then on 25^th my brother flew there alone to meet us. Funny I know. Everyone like went separately to a same destination. What to do, my mum and brother is working while my sister is schooling.

It’s ok la. as long as we celebrated CNY together overseas. So I consider it as a family trip .

I’m done with travelling this year. I am super broke. It’s time to work, work harder, save and save more money before I fly again next year. I make it to a point that I must travel and get my passport chopped at least once a year from different countries.

Now time to clean up, unpack and pray. House is loaded with things and messy again. Wohooo!

Penang Municipal Council aka Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang (MPPP), wat the heck is goin on with u. Or shud i say wat the fark is it with the state gov? y ar all the good unharmful trees n shades r gone. u mana sakit with sampai mau cabut n tebang pokok yg sihat?! u say wana make Penang green? oh come on.. Penang is so BOTAK nw! besides the heritage buildings r demolished! some don't even hv the license n permit to carry out certain renovation job that will destroy the elements of heritage on their house bt dey still do so. n what action hv u taken? stop order?? pls dun do drama so much la. at the end of the day, Penang is being destroyed slowly day by day. CAT government.. aih..

It's boring to blog nowadays.

so what do you do at this hour? Sleeping? Or still awake?

What type of person are you? Morning type of person or night type of person?

I'm a night person.

I works better at night.

I remember i used to study at night for my PMR, SPM and STPM and it worked well. I even studied till the next morning.

I don't know but i remember things more at night, to be specific, midnight.

So midnight is my working hours. =p

I feel less stress.

I don't have to response to people at this hour and they will be sleeping, no one will bother what i do at this hour.

It's nice to do things at your preferable time.

Inspirations come visit me at night.

I can be alone. I can do what i want. I can have all the time by myself. I hear no noise. I hear no people except my loyal radio.

Night time is peaceful. It's calm. It's relaxing.

*by the way, i am happy with my friends who are already working and got a job.*

results of final exam of final semester is OUT!

alright I am so afraid right now. 

The moment is here. The results of my final exam of my final semester have just released.

Oh i am so excited. And i'm so happy for my classmates and friends as they are now officially graduated. Everyone is posting it on Facebook. 

But i haven't checked mine. I freak out.

Everything happened so fast. 

Just a few hours ago, i posted in my Facebook that "u worry abt not getting a job? i worry abt not passing my final final exam lo.. "

Now, UTAR announced the results. All this while i was anticipated for it but not this time.

I have some bad feeling. I just feel uneasy.

It's like something bad is gona happen.

There's a very thick insecurities built in me.

I have been so grumpy lately thinking of the results.

I just want to pass la, not A...

Whoever is going for Anwar’s peaceful gathering tomorrow morning, may you be safe. Bring mask and salt. I don't think you can really have a smooth protest like the pro-government people. Too many double standards by the police. As I believe in democracy and support any peaceful activities, remember there’s always limit in freedom and everything else in the world. Whatever you do, do it with a clear reason and not to follow blindly. Protest safely..

But why must it everytime on the road. Why must all the time street protest?

Why small matter or matter that don't affect the society in general or the majority of us, political parties also take advantage to protest?

Happiness is when I saw the Curry Mee aunties are still around and they smiled at me.

Happiness is when I got to know that my loved one is called for an interview at The Star.

Happiness is when I bargained kao-kao and bought antiques aka unwanted items aka rubbish cheap-cheap at Armenian Street ‘thieves’ market. 

Happiness is when I got updates from Pei Suang.

Happiness is when I got to know that Ai Loon is now working in a newspaper company in Penang! Wohooo!

Now I know why I pokai – food, books, travel, antiques.

Today is Sunday, it's also a public holiday. So everyone can just relax at home and spend time with friends and family. The good thing that a public holiday falls on a Sunday is the day after which is Monday, it will be a holiday too. So, tomorrow will be another public holiday. haha.

My mum says today is a good day for spring cleaning and i have to wake up now. hmmmm.. But this means Chinese New Year is less than a month from now. wohooo! =p

bye 2011 hi 2012

Say bye to 2011 and say hie to 2012. I would like to take this chance to say zillions of thank you to everyone who came across my life and lend me their hands whenever I needed it. I’m sorry for all my cilakakness. Let’s learn from our mistakes and try to be a better person next year. Besides shouting like some mad fella at 12am later, maybe we can take 10 seconds to pray for world peace. I hope next year will be no war, no disaster and everyone will not be starving. Make 2012 more umpph than 2011. 2011 is awesome. 2012 will be lagi teramat awesome! USH!

oh, Penang state government..

OIK Penang government and municipal council!! U want to develop Penang but keep on demolishing old buildings. Tell me how many heritage buildings have you demolished? Don't talk about buffer zone or whatsoever zone. Whatever old but still functional and preservable buildings shud be protected and not to be sold to developers.

Development is not about more buildings or more highways, but the wellness of its people. It's useless if u have Grade A1 facilities or buildings but Grade F9 citizen and income!! i am so farking pissed off that some buildings are demolished again this week. And in few days time, some trees will be chopped off to widen the roads. Widen the roads can never ease traffic congestion la oik..
My Chief Minister, Lim Guan Eng, I hope u heard me. I think you do.

You often talk about transparency but you are not transparent enough! Sorry, but i dare the authority to make it public the buildings that they plan to demolish so that the public and NGOs are aware of it. Isn't this part of democracy where the people are consulted and their views taken into account? More citizen participation please.

i hate it and couldn't stand the fact that heritage buildings, nature, people, cultural and the source of income of people being sacrificed in the name of development. Penang pls don't do whatever you like.

i love to explore by bike

I love to travel. I love to go around. I love to explore and see lives. My eyes are hunger for new things that I never see. In Kampar, I have been using my bike to go around. First reason is because I don’t have a car. Second reason is because I don’t feel like travelling in a car. It’s better to go with a bike then only you can stop and see, feel and taste lives along the way. I feel life is so meaningless lo if you just wana reach your destination. . It’s not about whether you drive fast or slow. Sitting in a car is like being in a box. Go to a destination in a box and come back in a box. You don’t know what’s going on at your surrounding. That’s why I prefer to use bike if it’s in reachable distance.

Blessing in Disguise

I am happy.

I was chatting with a lecturer on what to do after graduation.

Then when i decided to start with a permanent job after graduation, i got to know that there's no vacancy in the company that i want to go.

It's kinda sad.

But she said this to me, "blessing in disguise."

At least i feel better.

Maybe everything happens for a reason. Ada hikmahnya segala yang berlaku. You won't know.

Maybe i will get something else in return.

I Googled the meaning of blessing in disguise and this is what i got.

1.      If some bad luck or misfortune ultimately results in something positive, it's a blessing in disguise.

2.      Is a good thing that you don't recognize at first as a good thing.

3.      Some people believe that good things are really "blessings" (gifts from God), that we don't always recognize for what they are at first.

4.      Something that at first seems bad, but later turns out to be beneficial.

I am worried, scared and feel insecured for not securing a job yet when i am graduating end of the year.
