equal love?

I have a question.

Can both parties love each other as much as both do? I feel one party will love the other party more lo.

Got equal love one meh??

hmmm..

12.08.06

Today is 12.08.11? I remember exactly what happened 5 years ago on 12.08.06. I din plan, it just suddenly came into my mind. The time was 7.35am.

Well, whatever we do, we might not have a happy ending but at least we must try to make sure the entire process is worthwhile and we cherish every single moment together. =)

Anyway everyone has moved on. I've moved on more than a year ago.. No more holding on. I let go long time ago..

Black history let it remained as a nightmare. But the sweet memories, let's keep it in our heart. It doesn't mean that we live in the past but we just cherish the beautiful moments.

We continue our journey.. Not with the same person. Maybe alone. Or with someone else. =p

PERIBAHASA of the day

Mari kita belajar peribahasa.

Kalau dulu kita guna:

Bersusah-susah dahulu, bersenang-senang kemudian.

Tapi hari ini kita modify dan improvise sikit.

Banyak olang suka jalan-jalan kan? Suka pi sana. Suka pi sini. Tapi kalau itu duit talak, mana mau pigi? Pi terjun perigi la. Kalau mau main puas-puas, kao-kao and high-high, first you must have some money. I am not saying money is everything but you must have some money.

So for those who spend 100 times more than they earn especially those who are not working, you must save. You must not spend too much on unnecessarily things.

Your parents always ask you not to simply spend right? You must save right? Why you never listen har?!!

When you have enough money, you fly la!

The right peribahasa for this is:

Berjimat-cermat dahulu, berterbang-terbangan kemudian.

Ok it’s time to sleep. Good night.

Orang Asli Semai from Kampung Pos Dipang

Date: 21/11/2010

Time: 5.35pm

Venue: Kampung Pos Dipang, Kampar, Perak

Kampung Pos Dipang in Kampar, Perak was one of the first Orang Asli villages to be destroyed by a disaster in Malaysia. A mudslide due to a heavy rain gushed away the whole village on August 29 1996 about 6pm. The Orang Asli village was situated next to Sungai Dipang. A nearby Chinese village also got affected by the mudslide. The incident snatched away 44 lives but only 39 remains were found, the other 5 are still missing. The disaster is believed to be contributed by the logging activities nearby. True enough, when i went there, a huge area of the jungle were cleared. A lot of trees were chopped and ready to be transport out.

As i always say, development is good but not to the extent that it destroys us.

My Way - Robbie Williams Live at The Royal Albert Hall

One of my favourite songs. Have been listening to it since last night, even now in the office. wahaha!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

And now, the end is near,
And so I face the final curtain.
My friends, I'll say it clear;
I'll state my case of which I'm certain.

I've lived a life that's full -
I've travelled each and every highway.
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets? I've had a few,
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I planned each charted course -
Each careful step along the byway,
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew,
When I bit off more than I could chew,
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall
And did it my way.

I've loved, I've laughed and cried,
I've had my fill - my share of losing.
But now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.

To think I did all that,
And may I say, not in a shy way -
Oh no. Oh no, not me.
I did it my way.

For what is a man? What has he got?
If not himself - Then he has naught.
To say the things he truly feels
And not the words of one who kneels.
The record shows I took the blows
And did it my way.

Yes, it was my way.

kajian kentut

Kentutlah anda sebelum anda dikentutkan. Jangan malu jangan segan. Diharapkan kajian ini bermanfaat kepada dunia sejagat.

Sudahkah anda kentut hari ini?

I know this is so random but i still wana say it. I wanted to say it long time ago.

I am so irritated and disturbed my 'friends' in my Facebook.

keep asking me to vote, vote, VOTE!

VOOOOOT ur ASS la!

If you are good, you'll definitely and automatically get a vote from me without you even asking. i can guarantee that.

Not like some people. Walaueh.. I really cannot tahan. They keep on SPAMMING my wall and other people's wall and force me to vote for them.

are you really good? do you deserved our votes at the first place? sorry but many of you don't!

Desperados la. Tak tengok cermin ka?

PODAKH!

For sucky competition, i will sure not going to vote. For sucky people, i will sure not going to vote too. And for sure, i won't vote if i don't know you.

Yes i agree and i accept the fact that you ask people to vote because they don't know that you are not in the comepetition. To inform people, that's ok. But never lebih-lebih, after inform you force people to vote. And never give misleading information.

Okla fine, some people really wana win. Okla fine, some will use his/her strong social network to spread news, to get support and so on. But you don't have to keep asking me to vote right? Once enough la. Why keep asking?? Meluat lu tau ka??

Sunset @ Penang

7.47am 4/8/2011

Everything from Penang is always better than anywhere else. I have to agree on this. I've never seen nice sunset in KL yet. The funny thing is i seldom see sunset because of the haze and the highrise buildings in KL.

How nice to sit and spend my evening at Padang Kota Lama watching the sun to set.

So calm and serene..

This is Feli, a very close friend of mine, a sister for me. This is the last picture we took before she fly to Australia to do her Phd. I was at KLIA to send her off.

No tears except joy.

I wish her all the best and I’ll remember her in my prayers.

I love you Feli.

high religion tolerance in Penang

I’m so glad to see the high level of religions tolerance and understanding in Penang. It’s puasa month and also the Hungry Ghost Festival. There’ll be Muslim prayers at night. And the Chinese will have kotai or singing performance. The kotai people actually lowe down the volume drastically as a respect to the Muslim friends. Wow!

kan bagus kalau semua orang boleh baik-baik macam tu. =p

hi Penang, i'm home

Wohooo! Finally im on my island, Penang.

I reached here at about 2am last night. I must thank Agkillah and her dad for fetching me home. If not I don’t know how am I going to carry my begs.

I tell you, the begs I carried home last night was the heaviest ever in any of my trip to anywhere.

This will be the last time I come back until my internship ends. That’s why I carried about 30% of my things back. Then I don’t have to carry so much after my internship.

So funny. I was like pindah rumah. I got 1 huge backpack, 1 loaded school beg and 2 heavy paper begs.

Oh god, I’ll be more penyek and ketot after this.

It’s ok, it’s nice to be home. I slept about 5am last night. I was too tired but I can’t take my eyes away from the TV. And I have to rush for an interview answers for my junior. It’s for his assisgnment.

He sent me the questions on Monday. But too bad. I was so sick since Monday. I sprained my neck then I had fever, flu and cough. I didn’t have time to check and answer his question until yesterday. But you know, when you are in internship, it’s like you are working. so you barely have time for other things. I sent him my answers in the afternoon just now. I hope it helps. If not, im sorry. I tried my best to help.

I woke in the afternoon and I saw Penang! Haha. Hi Penang. I miss you. I feel so outdated, many things have changed here. Ss usual, i'll hav a lot of things to do n i'll b so occupied.

The sad thing is when ur family members are not feeling well, im nt thr when help is needed. My grandma just had an operation. Will visit her soon.

I just lepak at home today. Tired n lazy to go out la. nice to have mum’s cooking again. Sedap! I’ll come out with my to-so-list soon. Sure got a lot of things. Haha.

You know what, my sister massaged me just now. Hehehe. So nice la. I didn’t know she’s that strong. So comfy. I feel so good now. =p

Do you realised that those people that you are frank and dare to argue with is because they are your true friends.

the tissue seller

9.30pm 19/7/2011 Petaling Street

It has been some time since I post up Ah Kong Ah Ma photos in my blog. I didn’t post old people photos in my Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.131084207876.112867.599962876&saved#!/media/set/?set=a.131084207876.112867.599962876&saved#!/home.php?sk=media) too since I’m in KL.

This is the first old people picture I post taken in KL.

It’s so hard to find old people here. Where are they hiding?

I met this aunty at Petaling Street when I was having my dinner with a friend, Aki from Japan.

She came to our table to sell tissues. I said no, thanks. She tried again and again but I still reject her. At the end she wanted to give me free. Hahaha. Of course I reject again. That’s her source of income, how can I take the tissues form her. Then she wanted to give me free Buddhist mantras and chanting CD. That’s so random.. I was like er.. It’s ok la aunty.

She went into the bank to rest as there’s aircon in there. I went in and chat with her.

She was telling me that her life is miserable. Her fate is bad. She’s unlucky and so on. She was curious why I keep on snapping her pictures. She asked me am I a bad guy. Am I going to put curse on her.

She said you will never know the true colours of people. Well she’s right on that. A lot of us are acting, wearing a mask whenever we go. Some even go abroad by jilatting the boss, lick here and there and become so cheap.

I assured her that I am not a bad guy. I am not a holy man but at least I won’t harm people and not her. I told her where I’m from, where I study and what I’m doing here in KL.

It’s so delighting to see her smile looking at her picture from my DSLR screen.

She touches my heart.

At the end, before I left, I bought her a bottle of mineral water. I didn’t open it up as I fear that she might think I put poison in the drink.

Posting up this photo makes up my night. I had a not so smooth day. i made wrong decisionsss. I was so down. But i can see myself smiling now, before I close my eyes, waiting for a better day tomorrow.

nightly QUOTE

If you work hard and you do your best, whether the end result is good or bad, you can still be proud of yourself. Remember to recognize, appreciate and remember those people who help you along the way. =p

I'm gona appear in NTV7 news at 7pm later =p

Good things are floating my life today.

Definitely not to boast, I am so thankful to those who made these happened.

After few times of rejection and continuous support and guidance from helpful seniors, finally, finally.. I'm given the chance to do stand upper and voice over.

This means i'm gona appear on NTV7 Malay news at 7pm today.

This is so unexpected and unbelievable!

I'm right now waiting nervously for the news to be aired in the newsroom. fuh..

Some of the seniors already congratulate me and they are so excited. Hahaha. Thanks Nadia, Sarah and Bob.

Thanks to Julie for encouraging me to try to do stand upper after I told her that the editors didn’t used it before. She helped me a lot in arranging the points and my presentation.

Thank you too to Kak Ron. She’s so high today. She freak me off with her harimau betina voice. But she is nice la. She can be playful when she’s not stress. I was so shocked when she’s ok to used my stand upper.

And I’m totally shocked.

I still have a lot to learn and a lot more to improve.

This experience is gona push me to do better.

Afterall, my internship is going to end soon. I’m leaving at the end of August.

Ok people let us countdown. Ehhee.

Sunray from Hutan Lipur Lata Meraung

Date: 17/7/2011 (Sunday)

Time: 1.07pm

Venue: Hutan Lipur Lata Meraung, Jerantut, Pahang

what a JOKE of the day

Well, let see what is the joke of the day.

First it’s from our Menteri Luar or Minister of Foreign Affairs, Datuk Anifah Aman. He was responding to the questions from people protesting in London. Najib, Hishammudin and him was there to meet the Queen of England. This is what he said about Bersih 2.0 rally.

“Tindakan polis berpatutan. Malaysia mempunyai pelbagai bangsa dan jika terjadi huru hara itu mungkin menimbulkan rusuhan perkauman. Kami tidak mahu ambil risiko. Awak tidak tahu apa yang berlaku di sana, awak tidak berada di sana.”

Come on Datuk! Stop lying! What joke are you telling??

Tindakan polis berpatutan? Whacking and beating people is appropriate? Shooting tear gas and water cannon into the hospital compound is ok? SIMPLY arrest people for wearing yellow and with the BERSIH word on it is correct? Oh wow…

Ok what else?? Huru-hara itu mungkin menimbulkan rusuhan kaum? Halooo.. it’s not chaotic at all if not because of the police. Everyone was walking peacefully until the police shoot tear gas and water cannon. Yes there are a few provocative demonstrators who couldn’t hold onto their emotions.

And the rally is not about Chinese vs Malay or Malay vs Indian or Chinese vs Indian or any race vs any race! It’s not a racial rally. It is a rally by all Malaysians from all over the country, all walks of life from different age, gender, religion, profession and so on. Nothing racist from Bersih 2.0 demonstrators. They were helping each other throughout the intimidation and abuse of power from the police. They were chatting and joking with each other. Chinese, Indian, Malay, Sabahan, Sarawakian, the aborigines got tear gas and water cannon too. It was a touching united Malaysian scene. Forget about the propaganda 1 Malaysia concept by Najib. The Bersih 2.0 demonstrators best represent the concept on July 9th. Racist elements only came from Ibrahim Ali and PERKASA. HE’S THE ONLY ONE BEING RACIST.

For your information Datuk Anifah, you are not there, so you don’t deserved at all to give your own judgement!

Shame on you Anifah Aman, Hishammuddin Hussein and Najib Razak for all the lies you made.

To all the politicians in Malaysia, stop talking nonsense and make fun on yourself. Most importantly don’t fool the Rakyat.

Why I talk so much?? The reason is simply because I was there when the democracy process took place.

Ok now let’s go to the second joke of the day. This time it’s about UiTM, a university for the Bumiputra. It got to the with the PERKASA President, Ibrahim Ali. UiTM is giving out Anugerah Ibrahim Ali or Ibrahim Ali Award to its students.

Oh wow!! Ibrahim Ali. Oh yeh.. uhhh..

First of all, I am so happy and proud of you, Ibrahim Ali for willing to sponsor RM 5000.00 in every convocation to the suitable student. It’s so nice of you. I think the students must be very happy for your kind contribution. Seriously it’s a good news when you give back to the society. You will be a good role model for your kind act.

But, I am so shocked with this award. How can a university acknowledge people like you, Ibrahim? Not enough with the racist label given to UiTM, now UiTM is one step backward in recognizing racism and recruiting more racist Malaysians. Don’t deny the fact that UiTM students are taught to be pro-government. Don’t deny the facts that there are a number of students from UiTM who are bearing the racist mindset.

I wonder what he has contributed to the nation. Erm.. Asking the Chinese to go back China? Er.. asking the Chinese to keep more food at home? Er.. Saying he can bring more people to counter Bersih 2.0 rally? Staying away when the Bersih 2.0 took place? Or calling Wong Chun Wai the Father of Crocodile (http://malaysiakini.com/news/170196).

Sorry but I am disappointed and utterly disgusted by this award. RM 5000.00 to promote and enhance racism? Bullshit!

Good academicians from UiTM please stand up and make a stand. UiTM is an educational institution. It supposed to give birth to capable, open-minded, rationale, outstanding and muhibah leaders not to produce more racist people like Ibrahim Ali la…

University should uphold democracy and improve the society.

Just because you can come out with RM 5000.00, you can have the award under your name?? fuyooo! What’s the rationale and relevancy?? Yes you may be cheered for speaking on behalf of the Malays but your views are not supported by all the Malays. You might be fighting for the Malay rights but I still don’t feel that you deserved to give out that award with your name on it.

I will be the first one to support if it’s a A. Samad Said Award or Marina Mahathir Award or even a S. M. Mohamed Idris Award.

Hmmm it’s ok la it’s your university, not mine. And I’m not the applicant. Afterall, UiTM is making itself a laughing stock, at least I laugh. Wahahahaah!

Siapa yang rasa dia layak and tak malu, apply lah.

I wonder what my friends from UiTM have to say about this award. Please leave your comments.

The application form is here (http://impak.uitm.edu.my/?page_id=2312). Your family and friends must be very proud of you. =p

OK I’M DONE LAUGHING WITH THE TWO NEWS TODAY. If you don’t feel funny, don’t laugh la and you can go away from this blog.

WHAT A JOKE OF THE DAY!

Queen of England in yellow

So why is the Queen Elizabeth wearing yellow when granting an audience to Najib and Rosmah? There are reasons. Hahah you are so cool la Queen of England. I respect you for your hidden message to my country. =p

Pictures that tell a story

* An article about me was published in The Star yesterday. (Thursday 14/7/2011) hehehe. ok i'm not boasting ok. But good news like this, i should share around. After all, it's good for my portfolio and resume. =p

PHOTOGRAPHY buff Oh Chin Eng simply loved to take pictures of older people, portraying the simplicity of their life.
And one of his many shots titled “Home”, featuring an old Sikh man with a long beard, won him the third prize under the individual portrait category at the KL International Photo Award 2011 in April.

Prize Winner: Oh win third prize in an international photography contest with a picture portraying rich Sikh cultural elements.

Oh said he preferred to work with older folk as the subject of his photography.
“There’s a special bonding between me and them, especially when they smile for my camera.”
In the case of the old Sikh man, who was clad in a sarong, the picture captured was a production of assimilation in the plural society, said Oh.
He said he decided to document the Sikh community because they were lesser acknowledged in photography although they have a rich and diversified culture .
Up close: Oh taking an outdoor photo shoot at a park.

“Photographing them was a way to start a conversation and the shots recorded tell a story on its own,” he said.
Oh simply wanted his pictures of old people to be a medium of communication and to “convey a message of love.”
“I first bought the camera way back in 2000 to take part in a national-level photography competition organised by the Red Crescent Society,” he said.
He said winning the competition with the first merit prize had encouraged him to take up photography seriously.
Oh picked up photographyon his own.
“I observed how people composed their pictures to improve my skill,” he said.
Aside from actively taking pictures, Oh from Penang was also actively involved in non-governmental organisations such as Penang Heritage Trust, Anak-Anak Kota and rts-Ed.
“The participation in such organisations had widened my perspective in photography,” he said.
Oh strongly believes in unpretentious act, which was the essence in documenting people in his photography to reflect the stories behind each of his subjects.
“I would never ask people to pose for pictures. Being natural is definitely the best expression,” he said.
Early this year, he won the first prize of a photography competition organised by Kwong Wah Yit Poh. His photographs have also appeared in the The Star’s Thumbnail column since 2006.
On his future goals, Oh, a final year journalism undergraduate, plans to be a photojournalist.
“I hope my experiences and awards would help me land a job when I graduate,” he said.

QUOTE of the day

Human is such a determined creature. They will do anything they can do get what they want. But sometimes they do the wrong thing, use the wrong way.
