cycling life in UTAR

This is when i cycled to Temoh from Kampar. =p

Only in UTAR Kampar, we got the chance to own a bicycle and to cycle around for at least 3years. Some may not like it but where and when else we can do that in life? It’s such a joy to cycle with friends and laugh at each other when someone fell down.

I think we all should appreciate the moments in life than to condemn, complaint and make a fuss on it. It’s the little things and imperfections that make our life colourful and beautiful.

These are the part and parcel of life.

I should cycle more because after i graduate i won’t have the opportunity anymore.

This is my last semester in UTAR and in Kampar. 2 more months to go. Well OCE faster finish your FYP and assignments so that you can explore Kampar. =p

Don’t make yourself regret.

what a JOKE of the day

Well, let see what is the joke of the day.

First it’s from our Menteri Luar or Minister of Foreign Affairs, Datuk Anifah Aman. He was responding to the questions from people protesting in London. Najib, Hishammudin and him was there to meet the Queen of England. This is what he said about Bersih 2.0 rally.

“Tindakan polis berpatutan. Malaysia mempunyai pelbagai bangsa dan jika terjadi huru hara itu mungkin menimbulkan rusuhan perkauman. Kami tidak mahu ambil risiko. Awak tidak tahu apa yang berlaku di sana, awak tidak berada di sana.”

Come on Datuk! Stop lying! What joke are you telling??

Tindakan polis berpatutan? Whacking and beating people is appropriate? Shooting tear gas and water cannon into the hospital compound is ok? SIMPLY arrest people for wearing yellow and with the BERSIH word on it is correct? Oh wow…

Ok what else?? Huru-hara itu mungkin menimbulkan rusuhan kaum? Halooo.. it’s not chaotic at all if not because of the police. Everyone was walking peacefully until the police shoot tear gas and water cannon. Yes there are a few provocative demonstrators who couldn’t hold onto their emotions.

And the rally is not about Chinese vs Malay or Malay vs Indian or Chinese vs Indian or any race vs any race! It’s not a racial rally. It is a rally by all Malaysians from all over the country, all walks of life from different age, gender, religion, profession and so on. Nothing racist from Bersih 2.0 demonstrators. They were helping each other throughout the intimidation and abuse of power from the police. They were chatting and joking with each other. Chinese, Indian, Malay, Sabahan, Sarawakian, the aborigines got tear gas and water cannon too. It was a touching united Malaysian scene. Forget about the propaganda 1 Malaysia concept by Najib. The Bersih 2.0 demonstrators best represent the concept on July 9th. Racist elements only came from Ibrahim Ali and PERKASA. HE’S THE ONLY ONE BEING RACIST.

For your information Datuk Anifah, you are not there, so you don’t deserved at all to give your own judgement!

Shame on you Anifah Aman, Hishammuddin Hussein and Najib Razak for all the lies you made.

To all the politicians in Malaysia, stop talking nonsense and make fun on yourself. Most importantly don’t fool the Rakyat.

Why I talk so much?? The reason is simply because I was there when the democracy process took place.

Ok now let’s go to the second joke of the day. This time it’s about UiTM, a university for the Bumiputra. It got to the with the PERKASA President, Ibrahim Ali. UiTM is giving out Anugerah Ibrahim Ali or Ibrahim Ali Award to its students.

Oh wow!! Ibrahim Ali. Oh yeh.. uhhh..

First of all, I am so happy and proud of you, Ibrahim Ali for willing to sponsor RM 5000.00 in every convocation to the suitable student. It’s so nice of you. I think the students must be very happy for your kind contribution. Seriously it’s a good news when you give back to the society. You will be a good role model for your kind act.

But, I am so shocked with this award. How can a university acknowledge people like you, Ibrahim? Not enough with the racist label given to UiTM, now UiTM is one step backward in recognizing racism and recruiting more racist Malaysians. Don’t deny the fact that UiTM students are taught to be pro-government. Don’t deny the facts that there are a number of students from UiTM who are bearing the racist mindset.

I wonder what he has contributed to the nation. Erm.. Asking the Chinese to go back China? Er.. asking the Chinese to keep more food at home? Er.. Saying he can bring more people to counter Bersih 2.0 rally? Staying away when the Bersih 2.0 took place? Or calling Wong Chun Wai the Father of Crocodile (http://malaysiakini.com/news/170196).

Sorry but I am disappointed and utterly disgusted by this award. RM 5000.00 to promote and enhance racism? Bullshit!

Good academicians from UiTM please stand up and make a stand. UiTM is an educational institution. It supposed to give birth to capable, open-minded, rationale, outstanding and muhibah leaders not to produce more racist people like Ibrahim Ali la…

University should uphold democracy and improve the society.

Just because you can come out with RM 5000.00, you can have the award under your name?? fuyooo! What’s the rationale and relevancy?? Yes you may be cheered for speaking on behalf of the Malays but your views are not supported by all the Malays. You might be fighting for the Malay rights but I still don’t feel that you deserved to give out that award with your name on it.

I will be the first one to support if it’s a A. Samad Said Award or Marina Mahathir Award or even a S. M. Mohamed Idris Award.

Hmmm it’s ok la it’s your university, not mine. And I’m not the applicant. Afterall, UiTM is making itself a laughing stock, at least I laugh. Wahahahaah!

Siapa yang rasa dia layak and tak malu, apply lah.

I wonder what my friends from UiTM have to say about this award. Please leave your comments.

The application form is here (http://impak.uitm.edu.my/?page_id=2312). Your family and friends must be very proud of you. =p

OK I’M DONE LAUGHING WITH THE TWO NEWS TODAY. If you don’t feel funny, don’t laugh la and you can go away from this blog.

WHAT A JOKE OF THE DAY!

the show must go on

hmmm.. UTAR Ball 2011?

It’s very ironic. Top guns keep telling me as a chairman you don’t have to do anything, you just observe, monitor and do some surveillance. Ok.. that’s totally different from what I’ve been practicing. I still helped what I can and what I know. But when there’s problem. Every finger is pointing at me. Mouths are telling that I didn’t do anything and I NEVER help my committee. Hmmm.. ok.. these two statements are so contradict. It’s not easy to be at the top. You can’t please everyone you know.

It’s human nature..

When you make mistake, people only look at your mistake and nothing else. Your track records are nothing because you already made a mistake and people will remember your mistake.

Many people out there, as normal will give their point of view but they don’t know what’s going on inside. Only inside people know the truth.

A lot of top guns in the committee said they can do this and they can do that, but at the end of the day, only a few of them and only the talked less people did the amazing things. For those who talked big, now they kept quiet. Sometimes they put they blame on others. As for me, I made a mistake by not putting 100% effort in it.

I chose to just listen and I won’t put the blame directly to any specific person. I make mistakes and I admit it. For those in denial, let it be.

my stomach is kacau again since few days ago. im tired but couldn't sleep because of the pain. what the toooot la.

While the Sarawak people are fighting for a change, I will be fighting to make a good UTAR Ball despite all the hurdles the committees have to face.

We are fighting here in Kampar to give a good show.

The show must go on!

I just have one hope tonight. Please no rain.

Thank you.

QUOTE of the day

It's a sad moment when u have to say goodbye to your friends upon graduation. What to do, it's part of life, we grow and we change. We can't be at the same level forever. So if this is your 3rd year, do something meaningful with your frens and for your friends, at least u'll have something sweet and memorable to store in your mind when you say byebye. No point regret later because time will never stop for you.

Thursday, 10 February 2011

It has been quite long since i posted images in my blog. The last time was during new year i guess.

It must be boring if a book only contains words and no graphics.

So jeng jeng jeng!

I have something to share for those who never step into my university before.

*i'm rushing n packing back to Penang. bus at 6pm. tonight only i continue with the caption la tata.

QUOTE of the day

Policies, laws and rules are made to make things easier and to bring benefits to the people in general. But if it bring troubles, problems and inconvenience to the people, it should be amended or abolished.

get ur facts right

All these while, I have been keeping quiet, not saying anything although I have been framed, criticized, downgraded, humiliated, and accused by someone.

But now before I sleep, I have something to say.

I would like to remind everyone to get your facts right before you say anything because it can become a sedition or defamation. I, OH CHIN ENG, NEVER EVER USE MY PTPTN LOAN TO BUY ANY CAMERA OR DSLR. I bought my DSLR back in 2007 using the money I earn working part time in few places. It’s ridiculous to say that I use PTPTN loan to purchase my DSLR. For your information as well, as a student representative I have never given a cent and I have never taken a cent from the university. You can check it with the university for clarification. If I am self-centered I won’t devote my time, energy, money and reputation to stand up for the students.

I don’t mind and I am so open to criticisms but please debate on facts and not by attacking people’s personal life. Don’t act as if you know me so well.

I am offended by these derogatory remarks. I hate being accused and its hurt. Mind your language. Yes, I feel behsyiok now.

But good news is, you, yes YOU, if you still know who you are after saying I use my PTPTN loan to buy a DSLR, you can continue with your baseless and irresponsible allegations. I’m not gona care anymore. Or let me suggest you this, if you don’t like what people say or write, just go off, don’t listen and don’t read. Don’t torture yourself la.

Thank you and good night.

*Kes ditangguh buat semementara waktu sehingga satu tarikh yang akan diumumkan kelak. =p

an IMPORTANT reminder

This is to remind all the UNIVERSITI TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN Kampar campus students to please pay your student bill by this Friday (11.2.2011). The deadline also applies to those qualified students who didn’t get their PTPTN loan yet.  I already went to the relevant department to inform them about the late imbursement of PTPTN loan. But the officer said the deadline won’t be extended and we must pay the penalty. I repeat, UTAR IS NOT EXTENDING THE DEADLINE! If you are late, you’ll be charged penalty RM10 per week. Good news is you can write a letter to the Division of Examinations to get back your penalty. Good luck!

what a BIG mess.

Oh no no no..

i guess i just create a BIG mess for myself.

i sendiri cari pasal.

i wrote an opinion piece earlier this morning and i send it to "The Letter of The Editor."

It got published in several news portals.

guess what.

90% of the readers left a bad comments critisizing, scolding and downgrading me.

hahahaha. what's the big deal la.

why must scold me..

i'm just expressing myself nia ma.

wrong meh.

i feel the title is wrong la.

i know la my ENglish sucks and i made many errors. English was not my first language ma. I didn't ask anyone to edit before i publish it.

Some may not agree with my opinions in the article but my point is simple. If the festive season comes earlier than usual, then the authority can consider to give the PTPTN loan earlier lo. I believe each and every one of us use the loan not only for tuition fees right?

for those who are not agree with my points, you can scold me but why scold my parents? are you matured enough by bringing down and condemning other people's parents?

hmmm.. alrite im not here to argue.

My tone is that article might have created some unhappiness kua..

but sorry la i love being sarcastic and cynical. =p
by the way, i'm not the only here not getting the loan yet. Thousands of students are facing the same problem too.

i get the blame for voicing it out ah.

if anyone who dare to stand up and voice it out, i will be the first one to support him/her.

but nvm.

i'll just listen la.

i seriously love their critical thinking. i love healthy debate. i don't deny their opinions. they are right in certain ways. i like it when there are response from them. this means that they care for the issues around them.

anyhow, they are entitled the rights for expression ma.

i sincerely thanks them for their honest opinions.

for those who know me, they know i'm not the person like what the readers commented on the article.

i don't have bad intention in posting the opinion piece lah..

i feel a bit offended and uneasy by their comments but i am ok la. ehehe.

whoever support or against my opinion, i accept it with an open heart.

lost in 2011

Today is like what, the 10th day of 2011?? But why am I feeling so lost, as if I’m already in the maze of 2011 for years.

I don’t feel comfortable with what I’m feeling now seriously. Seriously..

I’m back in Kampar already. Reached here late last night. While my other classmates still enjoying one more week of holidays, I have to be back earlier. There are a bunch of people also sacrificed their holidays to prepare for Orientation this week. Hat off to them. They are really dedicated in what they are doing.

Now back to my story. I feel so stress up la. Yea this is just the beginning of the semester. But with Orientation, SRC, events, studies, Final Year Project, Internship application, etc etc and etc, wah kepala boleh pecah!

I think what bother me the most is SRC. A lot of unfinished plans and things to be done. Hmmm..

The problem now is..

I FEEL LOST!

I feel so so lost. Moody.  I don’t know what I should do. I’m so clueless and helpless.

No ummpph! No inspiration!

HOW ah? How?

I need the KICK!!

I need to start working. But brain is not working. Time flies so fast. I can’t afford to waste anymore time. Chances have slipped away.

OCE WAKE UP!!

Oh, I feel like go into the ring for a fight now. Feel like punching someone and let someone punch me. I wana feel the pain lah. Really la. Is there any illegal fighting ring? Eh I wana join. When you fight, you can overcome your fear you know. Cuz u’ll be dare to face your opponent and challenges.

I believe fighting is a good way to train us to face our problems. =

2010 was a good year. 2011? Hmm.. what say you? I don’t think 2011 is a good year because I don’t feel it. But maybe tomorrow I’ll feel differently? So, if you feel it’ll be good, it’ll be good la. And if you want it to be good, you make it good lo..

3 weeks in Penang

wooohoooo!

finally i am home. i reached Penang on Wednesday morning. and i lost my handphone. i left it in the ferry.

this is the first time the exam for Journalism course finished earlier than other courses. most of the time, our paper is the last one.

last paper was on 18th. then i went to Kuantan from 19th to 21st. i had an enjoyable time with you Sotong, Dai Ka Jie, Jing Wen, Xiang Lin, Yat Kuan, and Siew King. Thanks for the great hospitality Yat Kuan.

i met up with Feli yesterday. it feels great to catch up with her again. she bought me a tie as a Christmas gift. lalalalala. and she made me walked in George Town and hopped into public bus instead of travelling with my scooter. it's nice to slow down and feel the life of Penang.

then i helped Sheau Fung from PHT to shift exhibition stuffs in the new Museum at Macalister Road. Everytime i come back to Penang, i sure look for her and help out whenever i can. she taught me a lot of things.

you know..  i just helped my mum to wash the dishes.

im glad i did.

this is the first time i helped her to wash the dishes eventhough she didn't ask me to do so.

i feel.. i duno. i should do something for this family, to ease her burden.

this semester break is the only time i have to be with my family and i'll make use of the time i have.

i'm going out now but my mum ask me to eat. hmmm.. but she has not finish cooking la and i am rushing. this is the situation i dislike the most. i know she wants us to eat. every mum in the world work so hard in the kitchen to prepare a meal for her family hoping that they will eat, stay healthy and not hungry when they are out of the house. i know she feels disappointed everytime i didn't eat.

well, i'll stay to have my lunch and be late for my date lah. =p

this semester break is quite long, a total of 4 weeks. but i only have 3 weeks cause i have to be back to uni for the new students Orientation. yeala that's my duty as SRC Chairman ma. 3 weeks is damn short la.. most of the time, i dun really care of holidays. but this time..

I WANT ONE MONTH OF SEMESTER BREAK!!

Tuesday, 21 December 2010

let me TELL you thisdd

How much times left for you to know ur uni mates, to spend time with them n to go crazy with them. well.. not much! so?? get ur ass up n do it b4 u graduate. =p

Saturday, 18 December 2010
